

Kelsie attended St. Mary of the Assumption School through eighth grade, attended Lake Catholic High School, and was a student at the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She enjoyed volleyball, and gained a passion for golf, which led her to work toward a career golf course management. Kelsie was known for her infectious laugh and was loved by her many friends.
She is survived by her father, David Monin; sisters, Amy (Giorgio) Cappuzzello and Laura (Jeremiah) Lohnes; grandparents, James and Lucy Julian; nephews, Jack and Sam Cappuzzello, and Benjamin Lohnes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maureen Monin; and grandparents, Raymond and Frances Monin.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. (Please meet at church.) Rev. Thomas Elsasser will officiate. There will be a private interment at a later date in Mentor Cemetery.

Kelsie A. Monin, 21, passed away on June 19, 2013, in South Carolina. Born March 8, 1992, in Mayfield Heights, she was a lifelong Mentor resident.
