Linda R. Finomore Koeth, age 69, passed away peacefully October 31, 2021 in Cleveland. Born June 23, 1952 in East Cleveland, she was a South Euclid resident before moving to Newbury Twp. in 1995. Linda was a Dispatcher and Police Matron with the South Euclid Police Department for 27 years, retiring in 2003. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sullins College in KY, and was a member of their Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Linda was an active parishioner of St. Helen Catholic Church in Newbury Twp. and ran their Lenten Fish Fry for many years. Also at the church she headed the Parish Picnic, was a Funeral Organizer, a member of Parish Council, a member of the Legion of Mary, and Past President of the Ladies Guild. Linda enjoyed coaching basketball at St. Helen and St. Anselm Churches, and was an avid golfer, once winning the Berkshire Country Club Championship. She is survived by her twin brothers Victor (Debbie) Finomore and Fred Finomore; many nieces and nephews that lovingly referred to her as “Keena”; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her K9 companion Maggie. Linda is preceded in death by her husband Michael L. Koeth; parents Aurelia “Rae” (nee Atves) and Alfredo Finomore; and nephew Joseph Finomore; and her K9 companions Dino and Shilo. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury.
