He was born April 14, 1919 in Ururi, Italy. He had lived in Chester Twp. for 33 years.
He was a machine operator with Licursi Co., and after retiring in 1993, began working at Licursi Garden Center. Lou was a very hard worker, and enjoyed gardening in his spare time.
Lou is survived by his wife Teresinella; daughter Connie Hunley; son Nick (Marguerite); grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) DiLauro, Tracy (Tim) Bradach, Nicole (Tyler) Secrest, Kelli (Ron) Sassano, and Anthony Licursi; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Taylor, and Samantha Secrest, and Isabella and Giavana Sassano; niece Clara Licursi; and nephew Rudy Licursi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Rev. Thomas Sweany will officiate.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd. Chester Twp. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
