

Michele "Mike" Sbrocca, 93, of Wickliffe, passed away June 20, 2011, at Hospice House in Cleveland. Born Feb. 5, 1918, in Campobassa, Italy, he had lived in Collinwood before moving to Wickliffe. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Church, the Italian American Club and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Sbrocca had worked at General Electric for 25 years. Survivors are his children, Marie Buddie, Nicolina (Dale) Dieter and Anthony (Heather) Sbrocca; grandchildren, Angelina and Deborah Buddie, Diandra (Nick) Petro, Dominic Dieter, Elsia (John) Ackroyd, Anthony, Philip and Laura Sbrocca; and great-grandchildren, Anthony Mackie and Nicholas Petro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gisberta; parents, Nicola and Stella Sbrocca; and brothers, Frank and Rocco Sbrocca. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DiCicco and Son Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Road (at Lander Road) Mayfield Heights. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery.
