Raymond Thomas Paonsha Jr.

Ray was the son of the late Raymond and Eugenia (nee Skufca) and was born in Cleveland on July 21, 1947.

Ray is remembered by his wife of 24 years, Karen Kratzer; siblings Charlene Terzano (late Ted), Maryanne Mastrangelo, Mark Paonsha (Joanne), Suzanne Paonsha-Gutierrez (Peter); nieces and nephews Karen, Denise, Christine, Michael, Matthew, Melissa, Brian, Sean, and the late PJ; great nieces and nephews Ryan, Alex, Nicholas, Brooke, Ruby, and Vincent; and many other family members and friends.

Ray enjoyed sailing, racing cars, and flying his twin-engine airplane with his friend. He loved to learn about science and astronomy, which led him to read and watch science fiction books, movies, and shows. To some, he may have seemed a little stubborn and outspoken but his kind and caring nature was evident to those close to him. Ray loved his family and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need.

A Family Greeting will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, 10:30 - 11:15 am at Holy Redeemer Church, 5712 Kipling Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110, where a Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am.
