We are heartbroken to announce our loving mother, sister and grandmother, Rhonda Gensur (nee Fredrickson), 67 years young of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, took her final breath on January 20, 2025, peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Her legacy lives on in those she left behind: her children Carrie Gensur, Jeff Gensur, and Amanda Gill (husband Brandon). Her siblings Renee' Blank (husband Jim), Randi Simmons (husband Bob), Allen Fredrickson Jr. (wife Julie), and David Fredrickson (wife Heidi). She also leaves behind one grandchild, Henry Gill, and 15 nieces and nephews. Rhonda is proceeded in death by her parents Allen and Jo Ann Fredrickson Sr. and her sister Robin Landl.
Rhonda lived a full life led by faith in Jesus Christ. She used her time caring for others and providing inspiration for those who also suffered with cancer. She was grateful God gave her purpose to share her journey with others as she did not have the same. She openly praised God for her blessings in life.
In addition to faith, Rhonda was an avid gardener. Her garden was her place of joy. She was the epitome of a green thumb and used everything she grew, from canning extra vegetables to making sauces and freezing meals.
Rhonda also recently retired from a long fulfilling career. Her time in the workplace was met with growth, self-discovery, and perseverance. She found pride and purpose in work, and everything she did. Always giving 110%.
