Richard "Nick" Nicholson, age 72, of Chardon, passed away on April 24, 2015. He was born Nov. 18, 1942, in Chesterton, Ind. Nick was the beloved husband of Barbara; loving father of Kim Craig and Mark (Amanda) Hedrick; devoted grandfather of Lindsay Craig, and Camden and Holden Hedrick; and dear brother of Dottie Kasten, Betty Lindenmeyer, Christine Tressler and Robert Nicholson, all of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Nicholson. Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, 44026, with the funeral service to follow at 5 p.m. A private interment will be held at Claridon Twp. Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to St. Mark Lutheran Church (see address above).
