Robert Kohler

Robert W. “Bob” Kohler, age 73, passed away peacefully August 6, 2021 at his residence. Born December 31, 2021 in Cleveland he had been a Chester Twp. resident for 33 years. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam war, later serving in the Merchant Marines and then the Army Reserves. He was an avid War buff and in particular loved learning about Gettysburg and Abraham Lincoln. Bob often visited many Museums to continue learning about historical Wars and War figures. He also was an animal activist, helping enrich the lives of many cats during his life. Bob is survived by his son Robert M. Kohler; siblings Fred (Judy) of FL., Diane (Peter) Meskin of NY., and Ron (Judy) of FL.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Ken; and parents Fred and Vernie Kohler.
