Robert “Bob” Mikula Jr., age 71, of Chesterland, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 23, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Rita (Hauer) and Robert Mikula Sr., and brother of Joseph.
He grew up in the Cleveland area and lived a life centered around faith, family, and hard work.
Bob spent much of his career working as an executive in sales, growing the customer base at several businesses. He was known for his friendly disposition, enthusiasm, passion, and what was often described as having a heroic work ethic. He took great pride in his work and in the relationships he formed with colleagues over the years.
Above all else, Bob was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband to Nadine, cherished father of Lauren (JJ), Chelsea (Jason), and Bobby (Becca); and proud grandpa to Jack, Britton, Libby, Jay, and Kaylie, who were truly the light of his life. He will also be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends.
Bob will be remembered for his big personality, love of Christ and Church, devotion to his family, love of his dogs over the years, service to others, and ability to make people laugh and feel loved. He enjoyed volunteering, playing golf, and collecting antique cars. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob’s life at a Mass at Our Lady Chapel in Gates Mills in January of 2026 (reach out to the family for details).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or The Metzenbaum Center in honor of Bob’s memory. Bob’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hillcrest Hospital for their compassionate care and support in Bob’s final days and to Father John Blazek for his continued support. There is no doubt the Legacy of Bob Mikula will live on forever. Share a memory or condolence at www.gattozziandson.com
