Robert J. Swetel, age 78, long-time resident of Chester Township, passed away unexpectedly on April 14th, 2021. Robert attended St. Joseph High School and went on to graduate from Ohio University. Robert was affectionately known as “Boob” by his many friends. He was a proud member of The American Lithuanian Citizens Club in Cleveland, The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chagrin Falls, and The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Wickliffe. Robert was proud of his Lithuanian Heritage and would organize and plan “Swetel Family Reunions”, proudly displaying the Lithuanian flag and making sure that Lithuanian food was always served. Thank you Lithuanian Club! He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kay (Muckley). He is survived by many family and friends. Private family services. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Cleveland.
