Sharon J. Kernz (nee Wright) age 82, passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2025. She was the dear sister of Carol Ferrara (deceased) and Thomas Brown (Joyce); the devoted mother to four daughters, Colleen Linderman (Christopher), Christine Volpin (John), Susan Lozada (John Welsh) and Kelly Murray (David); a beloved grandmother to Matthew (Megan), Michael (Kimberley), Jack (Paige), Cayley (Evan), Christian (Liz), Alexa (Zach), Lindsey, and Patrick, and a loving great-grandmother to Charlie, Cade and Milo.
Sharon will be remembered for her kind and caring nature, her warm personality, and her generous spirit. She had an amazing sense of humor and a gift for making friends wherever she went. Above all, Sharon will be remembered for the abundant love that she gave freely and unconditionally to her family and friends every day.
She will always be cherished as the most wonderful mother and the world’s greatest grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them, always taking the time to teach, play, and share her knowledge and wisdom. She never missed a birthday, a sporting event, or special occasion. She loved to tell stories, cheer on her favorite sports teams, and was always up for a fun game of cards.
Our family has truly been blessed to have her at the center of our lives. Our hearts will forever be touched by her life and the beautiful women that she was. Her spirit will live on in her children and grandchildren. We are grateful for the promise of Heaven, where we hope to see her again.
