Sheila Marie Winkler

Sheila Marie Winkler (nee Barnes). Beloved wife of Alan Winkler, stepmother of Dale (Karen) and Steven (Velta) Winkler, and grandmother of Mara, Peter, and Adrian. She was a member of Old South Church in Kirtland, and a crew member of the USS COD Submarine Memorial. Sheila was a skilled graphics artist and was active in various arts and crafts organizations. She was born April 18, 1952 in Marshfield, Wisconsin and reared in Chicago, Illinois where she attended Josephinum High School. She had five sisters and two brothers. Sheila earned her B.S. of Design at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and her Master of Architecture at State University of New York at Buffalo where she also taught as an Assistant Professor. She worked as a designer and consultant at various firms in the Boston area. Friends may call at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Alan, Sorry to read about Shelia's passing, especially given the loss of Jan too about ten years ago. You have had a rough time I think. My wife and I are in poor health ourselves now. My best to you, May peace and happiness come your way.
