Shirley J. Clucas

Shirley J. Clucas (nee Dayton), age 82 of Mayfield Hts, former longtime resident of South Euclid, passed away on May 13, 2016 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. Shirley was born on August 28, 1933 in Cleveland. Shirley was a very active member of Lyndhurst Community Presbyterian Church. She also spent time volunteering at The Waterford at Richmond Heights care facility. Shirley retired from the South Euclid/Lyndhurst School System after 25 years of service. Shirley is survived by her children, Jeffrey R. (Colleen), Shari (Brian) Bukovec, David E. (Kimberly), and Terry W. (Claudette); grandchildren, Stephen and Amanda Clucas, Michael (Amy) Bukovec, Matthew Bukovec, Ricky and Derek Clucas, Brett and Matt Mulligan; great-granddaughter, Annalise Bukovec; and brother, Lynn (Mary Ann) Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C.; sister, Gwen Garlock; and brother, Gil Dayton. Family and friends can call Wednesday 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd. Chester Twp. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Lyndhurst Community Presbyterian Church, 5312 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst (please meet at church). Rev. Francis Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, www. hospicewr.org
