Shirley Marie Pobuda

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Jerry Pobuda, and siblings Wayne Fultz, Joyce Sossa, Kathleen DeLong, Norma McCloud, and Janice Fleming.

Shirley is dearly remembered by her children Susan (Gary) Summerhill, Barbara (Clark) Lester, Consuelo (Joseph III) Sindelar, and Joseph (Traci) Cermak; grandchildren Daniel (Nicole) Summerhill, Emily (Connor) Harmer, Paige Baedke, Matthew Lengel, Melissa Cermak, Bryce York, Anthony Sindelar, Isabella Sindelar and great grandchildren Elijah Harmer and Caden Harmer.

Shirley dearly valued time with family and friends and especially loved to entertain and cook for others. She also loved music, dancing, visiting casinos, and basking in the sun poolside. Shirley made friends wherever she went, could strike up a conversation with anyone, and had a special talent for making people feel “special”.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place on Saturday, April 20th at 2 p.m. at the Streetsboro Eagles located at 9052 State Route 14 in Streetsboro, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley kindly requested family and friends make donations to the American Cancer Society.
