Born Dec. 19, 1936, in Cleveland, Mr. Bayzath was a former member of the West Geauga Recreation Council, and loved camping, fishing and traveling.
Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Evelyn (nee Sojka); sons, Mark (Dorothy), Greg (Alana) and Jeff; grandchildren, Nicholas, Connor and Grace; sister, Pat (Dave) Hess; and sister-in-law, Alice.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6 p.m.
Private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
