Thomas Alan Pastoric, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, following a challenging illness, lovingly surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on November 18, 1949, to the late Evelyn (Leskovec) and Marion “Pat” Pastoric. Tom graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1968 and Kent State University in 1973. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Tom’s passion and talent was photography. He followed his heart and turned that passion into a lifelong career when he founded CLIX Photography, building a successful business and leaving his mark through his work and artistry.
On September 21, 1973, Tom married Jeanne, the love of his life. Before settling in Chardon, Tom and Jeanne lived in Cleveland and Kent, Ohio. Together, they shared fifty-three wonderful years of marriage and raised three children. Throughout their life together, Tom and Jeanne traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, with a special fondness for Colorado.
Family and friends were at the heart of Tom’s life. Holidays at the Pastoric home were always special and memorable, with an open invitation to family and friends into his home and creating memories that would last a lifetime. He was always quick to add a joke, find humor in everyday moments, and take joy in the little things.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jeanne; his children, Jayme (Erin) Pastoric of Memphis, Tennessee; Brian (Traci) Pastoric of Denver, Colorado; and Alexan (Terrance) Creighton of Cleveland, Ohio; his grandchildren, Dean and Davis Pastoric: his brother, Raymond (Toni Phillips); sister, Pam (James) Misencik; brother-in-law, Jerry Lukanc; sisters-in-law, Sarina Pastoric and Nancy Lukanc; cousin, Bob (Donna) Fortuna; and many loving nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, James and Gregory Pastoric.
Tom’s family will be forever grateful to the compassionate caregivers at Burton Health Care Center, the Veterans Administration, and Bristol Hospice for the loving care they provided to Tom and his family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
