Valentina Shpak, age 85, died on Sunday, August 16, 2026. She was born on June 16, 1941, in Lugansk, Ukraine, the daughter of Nicolya and Mary Petryshenko. Valentina earned her bachelor's degree in engineering before moving to the United States, in the Cleveland area in 1999.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Boris (Anna Grinberg) Shpak of Orange, Ohio; her daughter, Olga (Alex) Shpaner of Solon, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
