He was born June 7, 1925, in Cleveland.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of the V.F.W. Post 3863 in Eastlake and an avid reader.
Mr. Brown worked as a teacher at Euclid High School, retiring in 1980.
Survivors are his daughters, Laura Evans, Linda Brown, Suzan Brown, Mary Brown, and Kathy (Shawn) Robinson; six grandchildren; sister, Laura O'Neil; and brother, James Brown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Brown; son, Tony Brown; sister, Betty Hughes; and brother, Phil Brown.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Road, Chardon Township. (Please meet at the front entrance.)
Arrangements are being handled by Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home in Chester Township.
