Al Bettilyon welcomed everyone into his home. Dear Lord, please welcome Al into your home as he did for everyone here. We will all miss him and cherish the wonderful memories through the years.

Bettilyon family,
May memories of happier times remain forever in your hearts. With deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one.

To the Bettilyon family.
I worked at the old AT&T Chicago 2 office in the 50s, 60s and 70s in the old Long Lines department in downtown Chicago. I worked with Al on the night shift during one of those years and Al was a colleague during that time. A fond memory then was those night force people coming to our home in the fall helping our family get the house ready for the winter as I was laid up with a serious back injury. We lived on the far south side of Chicago and Al came from Bensonville to help us out. I have never forgotten that experience. He looked after his fellow man when it was needed . My deepest sympathy to the Bettilyon at this time.

The Bettilyon/Holdsworth relationship began 17 years ago with the marriage of Betty Betillyon to Thomas Holdsworth developing into a healthy & warm relationship among the extended families. We will miss Al as we have missed Connie but the shared memories of our wonderful times together will live in our hearts and minds for years to come. To quote a favorite saying: "The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power - to tell just when the hands will stop - at late or early hour. Now is the only time you own - live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in Tomorrow - for then the clock may be still". Margaret & Wally Holdsworth & Family.
