Angelica Silva

Angelica Gloria Silva was born to parents Sara Garza and Guadalupe Silva on October 5th 1931 in Pharr Texas; was called home to be with the Lord on January 23rd 2022 in the Chicago land area. She was baptized on December 27th 1931 at St. Margaret’s church in Pharr Texas. Angelica was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, son Joseph Hernandez, and grandson Joseph “Junito” Hernandez and great grandson David Croff.

Her surviving children are Samuel S. Cuellar Jr., David Cuellar, John Silva, Marylou Silva, Miriam Flores and Iris Morales.

Her Grandchildren are Matthew S Sturges, Nicol Tekoppel, Andrea Herbert, Thaddeus Cuellar, Jillian Fields, David Cuellar Jr., Veronica Cuellar, Hector Silva, Juan Carlos Silva, Gabriella Silva, Sindo Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Jerome Rivera, Ivelisse Rivera Silva, Liana Rodriguez, Lisa Flores, Oscar Flores, Melissa Flores, Sarah Cazares, Robert Morales, Susanna Morales, Elena Morales, Ebonie Hernandez, Andre Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Nina Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez Jr.

She also has great and great great grandchildren, with many nieces and nephews and friends.

During her 90 years Angelica “Gloria” enjoyed playing bingo, cards, dominoes and loved scratch off tickets. Thoroughly enjoyed her coffee with sweets (cheesecake mainly). Enjoyed cooking and her house was spotless. She was always available to lend family & friends money when they were in need. She joked often and her favorite color was red. She enjoyed parties and toasting to the good ole days.

We will all raise a toast to her home coming and that she now knows what love, forgiveness mercy, and grace are with our Heavenly Father.

A visitation for Angelica will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, Blossom Venue, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. A final viewing will occur Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM, A celebration of life service will occur from 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM. A committal & interment service will occur Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mount Olive Cemetery, 3800 North Narragansett Ave, Chicago, IL 60634.
