Anna was born on March 12, 1930 in Warsaw, Poland as a 3rd daughter to the late Feliks & late Wladyslawa Studniarski. Anna is the last survivor of WWII in her family. In 1946 her father brought home a very skinny young soldier for some good home cooking. Jan was an orphan and survivor of Majdanek Concentration Camp, now stationed in Warsaw. Needless to say they were married on August 18, 1946. Their union was blessed with two children, son Leszek and a daughter Joanna. Anna was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed sowing very unique, one of a kind dresses, suits, blouses, and skirts, but never pants for herself and daughter. In 1965 the whole family legally immigrated to the USA leaving behind a very profitable taxi business. Most of her remaining life was spent in Chicago. Anna loved to spend time spoiling her grandchildren Monica, Greg, Beata, and Gerard. Anna was blessed to see the birth of her 7 great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Jan Onyszko. She is survived by her son Leszek (late Suzanna) Onyszko of Chicago, and daughter Joanna (Michael) Odehnal of Wisconsin Dells, grandchildren Monica (Edward) Stankiewiez, Beata (Edward) Brosius, Gerard Onyszko of Chicago, Greg (Paulina) Gogola, and great-grandchildren Ryan, Colin and Hailey Gogola of Wisconsin Dells, Alaric and Fiona Brosius, Oscar and Luke Stankiewicz of Chicago. Extended family Sam (Ting Wu) Yuk Sun and children Ian, Vida and Zoe Sun of Florida. Special niece Alice Macias, nephew George (Joan) Dubicki and many other nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to thank Dr. Janusz Golec for taking care of mom for over 40 years and her caregivers at Assumption St. Benedict Home.
