Antoni Kulfan, a devoted father, hardworking man, and proud Polish-American, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Born in Poland to Wroclaw and Janina Kulfan, Antoni carried with him a deep sense of heritage, resilience, and quiet strength that defined his life and the way he loved.
He was the beloved brother of Jan and Helena Gorzoch, and above all, a selfless and concerned father. His greatest concern and deepest hope were always that his son would grow into a man of strong character—guided by good morals, good values, and a sense of responsibility. Antoni instilled in him the importance of hard work; to him, hard work wasn’t a burden—it was simply a fact of life.
Though Antoni often came across as serious, those who knew him well were lucky enough to see another side—one marked by dry wit, surprising humor, and moments of genuine warmth. When he let that side show, it reminded everyone that beneath the stoic exterior was a man who loved to laugh and connect.
In his quiet hours, Antoni found comfort in watching Polish and Russian musicals on YouTube, staying close to the music and culture of his homeland.
Antoni Kulfan leaves behind a legacy of strength, humility, and unconditional love. His values and memory live on in the life of his son and in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever honored.
