Antonio “Tony” Diaz, 64, a Chicago entrepreneurbusinessman and longtime area resident, died in September 2026 in Maywood, Illinois. Diaz was born Feb. 25, 1962, in Chicago to Carmen Diaz and Jesus M. Diaz and grew up in the city with his siblings, Victor, Ramon and Teresa.
His family includes his wife, Hilda Diaz; children Veronica Diaz and Jesus Diaz; stepchildren Pablo Lopez and Hilda Rivera; grandchildren Brianna Pineda, Yasmine Pineda, Jaden Diaz, Aubrey Serna and Phoenix Rivera; and siblings Victor Diaz, Ramon Diaz, and Teresa Diaz.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 14, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Morning visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Entombment to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, 8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
