Arthur L Frazier
February 17, 1946 – July 5, 2018
Arthur Frazier was born on February 17, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas. His radiant personality shined as a little guy as he worked in his father’s grocery store counting and making change and providing customers with excellent service. As Arthur grew up physically, his personality and intelligence continued to grow as well. He strived for his independence. Arthur moved to Chicago and dedicated his service to the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he was a student at Chicago Teacher’s Union (Chicago State University) and graduated with a degree in teaching in 1972. Arthur continued his trail of excellence by receiving his masters in reading education in 1985. He was a dedicated and exemplary teacher; in and outside of the classroom. He was instrumental in the lives of many people. Often gently, but directly nudging or providing many of his life adages to guide others in the right direction. Member of Phi Beta Sigma, International Reading Association and Who's Who in America. He was the quintessential father and father figure. Arthur is survived by his wife Kathleen, his daughter Nikki (Robert), his god-daughter Jeaneen (Dwayne), his brothers, Fred, Michael, and Roy, his Aunt Ruth, and a host of many relatives and close friends. Arthur believed in keeping an open-mind and altruism. He was Mr. Invincible for a long time; God called him home on July 5, 2018 at 6:35pm. He is and will be excessively missed. We love you Arthur a.k.a Art, Mr. Frazier, Professor Frazier, King Arthur, Mr. Invincible, Mr. No, Papa Frazier, and most affectionately, Daddy!
