Carmela Ronkoske Zuehlke

Carmela Zuehlke, nee Polera, age 95, born January 14, 1929, passed away on January 29th, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Raymond F. and beloved wife of the late Edward C. Ronkoske, Sr. Loving mother of Edward C. Jr. (Gail), Michael (Judy), Thomas (Sandra) Ronkoske, and Linda (Charles) Pusateri. Fond grandmother of Jason (Laura), Jeffery (Sarah), Lindsay (Timothy), Heather, Sean (Sandra), Michael (Meredith), Tiffany, Patrick, Matthew, and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of James (Madeline) and Joseph F. Polera. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Carmela was a passionate ballroom dancer and traveled the world on many cruises.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Carmela that will take place on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60625. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at St. Padre Pio/St.Hilary’s Catholic Church, 5600 North Fairfield Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60659. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be directed to either St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, or St. Padre Pio/St. Hilary.
