Cecelia Mary Clayton

A skilled landlady, Cecelia also worked for over 15 years at the State of Illinois Department of Unemployment, and owned the Hound Dog hotdog stand at Milwaukee and Western. She was generous, kind, and strong-willed.

Beloved mother of Albert Michael Clayton and the late Dawn Emily (Water “Vodge”) Glowa and the late Alicia Sayles. Dear mother-in-law of Patty Quigley Clayton; proud grandmother (“Nonny”) of Sean Glowa, Shannon (Rafael) Esparza, Sonya (Pascal) Martin, Sheena Glowa, Shane Roper, Mark Sayles, Daniel (Anita) Nawcewicz, and Ryan and Joshua Clayton; great-grandmother of 25; great-great-grandmother of four.

Preceded in death by parents William and Mary Cagle and former spouses Al Wampler and R.C. Clayton.

Visitation Thursday, April 28, 9-1pm (prayers 12:30pm) at Malec and Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, 60646. After prayers, family will follow in procession to Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Hts.
