Christopher Joseph Weidman

Christopher Weidman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 29, 2025 surrounded by his family. Christopher will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering strength, and deep love for those closest to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Weidman; his daughters, Megan Weidman (Joseph Swanson) and Morgan Weidman (Jacob Sylvester); and his cherished grandson, Liam Swanson. Christopher was a loving brother to Jeanne, Mark, and Michael Weidman, and a devoted uncle and great-uncle to many.

He was preceded in death by his beloved and deeply missed son, Marco Weidman; his brother, Daniel Weidman; and his parents, Carol and Joseph Weidman.

Christopher’s legacy lives on in the memories of those who loved him and the countless lives he touched with his warmth, wisdom, and generosity.

A visitation for Christopher will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the family will gather at 9:00 a.m. at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home for Morning Prayers, followed by a funeral procession to the St. Terrence Worship Site of Incarnation Parish, located at 4300 W. 119th Place, Alsip, IL 60803, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. The service will conclude following the Mass.
