Claire A. Host, nee Tanis, age 92, passed away on July 18, 2025. Beloved Wife of the late George A. for a loving 65 years. Loving Mother of George Jr. (Peggy), Dave (Donna), Guy (Nancy), Dan, and Glen (Sherri). Cherished Grandmother of Shawn (Waihan), Sam (April), Hannah, Amanda, Nick (Jeanie); Kaitlyn (Matt) Marcordes, and Conner Schouten, and the late Danny. Proud Great-Grandmother of Dylan and Avery. Dear Daughter of the late Nicholas and Claire Tanis. Fond Sister of the late Marge (Edward) Violet (Art), and Nicholas. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for Claire will take place Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Andrew J. McGann and Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, Illinois 60655. Funeral to follow Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM, with a Chapel Service celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow, Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
