Rudd, Clifford (Cliff), loving husband, father, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 25, 2025, at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Nancy Rudd and children James Rudd (Debbie), Jeff Rudd (Penny), and Jennifer Handzel (Tony), 5 grand-children, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Born with a keen mind and a steady hand, after graduating from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Cliff dedicated his career to civil engineering, where his work and leadership helped shape the communities he served. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence were matched only by his warmth, humor, and compassion for others.
Outside of work, Clifford found joy in the simple and profound pleasures of the world - traveling to new places, sharing stories with loved ones, and appreciating nature through boating, hunting in the great outdoors, or fishing on scenic lakes.
Clifford will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his integrity, and his kindness. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, the structures he built, and the family he cherished.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to The American Cancer Society.
