Demetra Kriadis

Demetra is preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Nicholas Kriadis, with whom she co-founded Coil-Tran Corporation in Hobart, Indiana.

Devoted mother of Sophia (Jim) Kuharich, Karen (Jim) Townsend, Gary (Gina) Kriadis, and the late Denise (John “Skip”) Buzanis.

Loving grandmother “Yia Yia” of Nicholas (Katie), Vanessa (partner David), and Andrew (partner Michelle) Myers; Anthony (Tiffany) and Erin (partner Dennis) D’Andrea; Gregory and Alexandra (Cole Hancock) Kriadis; Bethany (Ryan) Hammer; Tommy Buzanis and Nicole (Matt) Cummins. Proud great-grandmother of many.

Also preceded in death by parents Dionysius and Dionysis (nee Bambakis) Kladis and two siblings.

Visitation 10am, Friday, April 1 (11am funeral) at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 S. Roberts Rd, Palos Hills, IL 60465. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
