I feel sadness when I think of Dennis Farina being no longer with us. It is unlike me to feel that way about someone I didn't know. Today I finally figured it out. I just think he was a normal person. In the celebrity world, there are not enough of those people. From Fontana to Bones to Joe May, I'll miss his work too.

Dennis you were a great actor and always portrayed cops in a good way. As a retired cop I always admired you and am sorry I never got to meet you in person.m I know St. Michael is watching over you in Heaven as you help guard the pearly gates. From an F.O.P. Brother.

I enjoyed his performances in television and movies. I just saw his great performance in The Last Rites of Joe May yesterday. It was an unforgettable performance. I am greatly sorry that there will be no new performances.
