Our deepest sympathy to Sue and the Goralski family on the passing of Dennis. Dennis was taken too soon from us. He will always be with us. We never felt like customers, we were friends. Dennis is in good hands as we were in his. Rest In Peace Dennis.

Sue, I was sad to hear that Dennis passed away. I was one of his first customers at the Shell station at River Road and Oakton. That was over 30 years ago; and had continued going to Denny G's ever since. More importantly, I though of Dennis as a friend. My wife and I are sorry for your loss. We extend our sincere sympathy.

Saddened to hear the news. Dennis was a tremendous guy, as noted by everyone who has posted previously.
Wandered in for some help, with my beater of a first car, way back when he manned the corner Shell station @ River & Oakton. He immediately told me what was going on (and that I had not made a great decision buying that Oldsmobile), laughed and then took great care of me. Eventually my family started bringing their vehicles in, and even friends would drive 45 minutes just because they knew Dennis was going to do right by them.
You'll be missed, Dennis - God bless, and thoughts are with, your family.

Denny always made me laugh. Your car was busted, but it was going to be ok because Denny was a straight shooter. The car didn't matter anymore. He was going to take care of it and you were going to laugh about it. What a great man. I will miss him.

Thank's Denny and Sue S., for all the help over the year's. ThePolish Prince will be missed by all of his Chicago neighbors. We all know there's a repair shop in a corner of Heaven. We also know Denny, Walt, and Billy Mac, are setting up shop, to repair wings and halos. Adios for now buddy, see you at the 'big one'. T.K.

Denny was one of a kind. Just talked to him on the 23rd about the Covid vaccine and that one of the side affects was hair growth. Got a good laugh, he said he was going to sign up ASAP! Remember him changing out alternators in the street in the winter back in the CFD days. You will be missed big guy. God Bless you and Sue and your family.

My family has been friends and customers of Denny for almost 20 years. He will be missed so much. It really broke my heart when I learned of this news today as I just spoke with him a few days ago. I spoke with him every time I went to the shop as I appreciated his honesty. I live almost 40 miles from the shop but insist on going there for vehicle repairs as he is the ONLY one I trust.
My prayers are with the family.
RIP Denny.
Love you.

Dennis was a great guy.
He was bigger than life itself.
He had “Spanner Hands”, the first time I met him and shook his hand, I thought I was shaking hands with a human wrench.
He was just one of a kind.
I and my entire family will miss him dearly.
