Dennis Jerome Penda, age 84, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. Loving son to Harry and Frances Penda, adoring brother to Barry (Mary) Penda, cherished uncle to Tracy (William) Szumacher and Amanda (Jeff) Kania.
Dennis loved talking about sports and was a big fan of Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football and the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He also regularly donated to St. Jude’s and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Donations may be made in his memory to either hospital.
A visitation for Dennis will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
