We at Williams Stoker & Heating were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Diane's passing.  She was an extremely professional and pleasant person to work with.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and co-workers.  She will be greatly missed.

My wife and I were sorry to hear of Diane's death. We've often appreciated her generosity and kindness as a landlord, and will miss her.

I was so sad to learn of Diane's passing. She was a lovely 'landlord' to me, and I can imagine how beloved she was to her family and friends.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Diane's passing. In fact, I still do not believe it.She was a good person and a good friend.She and Erich lived the good life. I celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary as they hosted a great party.She loved to travel and was a regular patron of Chicago Theater.In addition,she was a great contributior to the community. She will be missed.

Having known Diane only a short time, she made an impression on me as a kind a caring person. May her soul be at peace

As all the notes on here relay, Diane was an amazingly generous, spirited and positive person. She found great joy in her family, friends, work and array of really interesting interests. I've only worked at Hayes a short time, but feel tremendous gratitude that I was able to learn from her as a mentor and call her a friend. She will be so very missed.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Diane's passing. While I only met Diane a couple of times, we had spoken several times on the phone; she was definitely one of the biggest reasons that I've stayed in the Seeley building all these years. Erich, I am sorry for your loss.

I am very saddened to hear of the loss of Diane. She was lovely from the start, showing me the apartment I now reside in. Quick to be helpful and with a great sense of humor. My thoughts go out to her family.

I only knew of Diane through her work with Hayes Properties, and I considered her my Landperson. She had a dry sense of humor that I appreciate, and was always very kind to me. She is a big reason of why I live where I do, and why I chose this place. I was shocked and saddened by this news. My condolences go out to her family and friends. My Wife and I have been tenants in a property that she managed, and have come to know her over the years. We are deeply saddened by this news, and will continue to keep her family in our thoughts and prayers. She sure was a wonderful family person.

I had the good fortune to know Diane through her work in property management. She was always kind and generous and receptive. One of the most genuine, helpful, and funny people I had the pleasure of interacting with in day-to-day life. She will be missed and remembered.

Diane was a great person. Although I never met her in person, her great attitude and helpfulness always came through over the phone or email over the last 3 years. She was great for Hayes and was a reason why we love living at 4203. Condolences.

I will truly miss Diane's caring and good nature, I had the previlage if working with Diane and always looked forward to our time together. She will surely be missed. God Bless her family and friends in their time of need.

As so many others have noted, Diane was a wonderful building manager.  She was responsive, friendly and warm.  She will be missed by all "her" tenants.

Thoughts and prayers to the Walch family and the Hayes Properties family at this difficult time.  Diane was a truly lovely lady with the patience of a saint.  She was a wonderful building manager and had such a great sense of humor.  I will always remember her as the one that gave me my first garage!  I think of her practically every day when I open the door.  She made the first winter in 43 years so easy.  She always made me feel right at home at 1624 W. Ainslie.  She will be missed.  May her family find peace and comfort in dealing with this great loss.  God bless.

Diane had always been very helpful and kind to me. She helped to make my apartment feel like a comfortable home during a difficult time in my life. Her kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated. My deepest condolences to the Walch family.

So sad to hear the passing of Diane Walch. A big reason I came back to Hayes Properties to rent my apartment was the opportunity to work with Diane as my leasing agent. She was always kind and a great joy to work with. She will be sorely missed.

I was a resident in the building Diane managed and she was a wonderful, compassionate and caring woman.  Over time, she also became my friend.  She will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to the Walch family.

Eternal peace, love and gratitude to sweet Diane, who always showed up 100%.

Mrs. Walch, from our first meeting always had a warm smile and always made me feel welcomed and apart of a family unit and not just a resident @ 4423. She was a beautiful  person and I am going to miss her deeply.  But I know that she will always be with me in my apartment and wherever I may go. She can now take her seat at the table and be at peace.

I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person. She was always polite and helped me with any concern that I shared.  I am sorry for the loss to the family, friends, colleagues and others such as myself who only knew her voice.

I was fortunate to work with Diane. All I can say is she was a pillar of a lady who cared about her community and those around her.  My heart goes out to her family.

Diane helped me so much.  I cherish the times we spent together.  She was generous, practical, direct, and loving.  She will be missed.

I am very sad to hear this news.  Diane along with Erich was instrumental in building our community. When she and Erich had an opportunity to relocate they chose to stay in Albany Park.  She has worked to make our neighborhood a safe, diverse, and attractive place to live.  She was always warm and welcoming to visitors to her home and garden.

We are so very sorry to hear this has happened. Diane was a good person and we will always remember her as someone who was willing to help anyone who asked.   
She was one of the first people we met when we moved to the City 13 years ago. We were directed to her because of the neighborhood association that she had been a part of. We got together and tried to reinvigorate it, but didn't get much traction. 
But in the process she invited us to join a wider circle of people with whom there have been many memorable moments. 
We will always be grateful for having had her in our lives.
