Dolores Nunez, 92, of Chicago passed away at home on Thursday August 13, 2015. Born in Arecibo Puerto Rico on Sunday May 20, 1923 to Fautino and Marcelina (née Ahorrio) Nunez. Mr. Nunez was a WWII Army Private First Class. Devoted husband of the late Carmen V. (née Velez) Nunez; beloved father of Angel D. (Ivette), Hector L. (Evelyn), and Carmen B. (Carlos Cordero) Nunez; cherished grandfather of 11; adored great grandfather of 19; dear uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday August 18, 2015 from 3-9pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago where funeral services will be held 10:00am Wednesday August 19, 2015. Interment to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery Chicago where Military honors will be held.
