Dorothy was a friend and coworker of my brother,  Malcolm McKeith.  He always spoke so warmly of her and they traveled overseas together several times.   She was so helpful to him after he retired and was a big help to me when he passed away.  I last spoke to her on August 13th on his birthday.  My sincere condolences.  Mary McKeith.

Dottie, our Dearest Friend, was a beautiful person who lived her values. She cared about people, animals, the environment, and always sought to do good. She was a devoted Catmom to sweet Becky-as in earlier years she'd been to Chloe and to Grace.
Dottie was a fount of knowledge on many topics, kept up on the events of the world. She was ever helpful, and an expert explainer of the complicated. Our practical but softhearted friend-we will always miss her.
We shared laughter, tears, hugs, serious stuff, crazy fun.
Always she will be in our hearts.

Dorothy was the consummate  professional. We closed out our careers together  at the Department of Public Aid Office in Melrose Park. We worked together, watched movies together and loved to eat Chinese food together. We both enjoyed singing in our respective church choirs and performing  challenging material for an appreciative audience.   We even shared broken hips together.  And of course our love of furry animals : cats for Dorothy and dogs for me. 
I know Dorothy loved the Lord and I look forward to our time together in eternity. 
My prayers and comfort go out to her family who I know will miss her cheerful face and steadfast love. Much love at this difficult time.

Dorothy is my Godmother and an amazing woman. She is strong, wise, and such a motivation to me. She will be forever missed and always in my heart. ❤️
