Dorothy was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her siblings, Barbara (the late Lester) Waymire, Paul (Marjorie) Wilson, Jim (Faye) Wilson, and Virginia (George) Andrews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel (née Drummond) Wilson; her sisters, Mary Frances (the late Eugene) Ingram and Sarah (Ron) Manrriquez. She was a kind and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews whom she cherished.
Dorothy was born in 1941 in Paris, IL, and grew up in West Union, IL. She moved to Chicago as a young woman with her sister, Sarah. She was a long-time, faithful member of St. Ita Parish. She devoted many years of service to the architectural firm Shaw and Associates. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was known for her prayerful heart and generous spirit.
A private memorial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
