Edward Frank View, Jr., age 73, was a United States Army Two Tour Vietnam Veteran of the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles, Silver Star and Bronze Star Recipient; Commander of the Bellwood VFW Post 5081.
Edward was born in Chicago on November 14, 1950, and born into eternity on February 7th, 2024; lifelong loving partner of Gerri View; most loving father of Kimberly (Daniel) Frolik; adoring grandfather of Daniel Jr. and Bella Frolik; dear son of the late Edward Sr. & Laura View; beloved brother of Scott View and Trisha View; unforgettable uncle of Laura Niemi, Andrea Rothunde, Brian View, and Christy View; caring cousin; dedicated VFW Post 5081 Commander; fellow Vietnam War Soldier; and fond friend of many.
Friends and family will gather for a graveside service for Edward with United States Army Military Funeral Honors that will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Parkholm Cemetery, 2501 North La Grange Road, La Grange Park, Illinois 60526.
