Dear Danielle, You are in our thoughts and prayers. I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one. I know your dad thought the world of you. The last time we saw both of you was at the family reunion in Macomb about 10 years ago. Christopher and I drove up from Orlando. Too long ago, but was a wonderful visit. Dear Family,  I am so sorry to learn of Bruce's passing.  Please accept my thoughts and prayers for him and you.  Bruce was my salesman at Fanning Cadillac where my family bought many autos from him.  He was always thoughtful and took care that we didn't overly extend ourselves. We were truly overcome by the beautiful tribute to Bruce.   He was a favorite cousin we loved and always enjoyed seeing when opportunity presented itself.  Bruce was a wonderful, gracious, considerate, soft-spoken man, devoted to his family, both near and far. 

Growing up in Florida, it was a family tradition to drive to Illinois during our summer vacation to visit aunts, uncles, and cousins.  When visiting Chicago, Aunt Joan, Uncle Eddie, and Bruce were our tour guides.  They usually suggested fun and educational places for us to visit: museums, restaurants (Lou Malnati's Pizza), ball games (Go Cubs), Lincoln Park, Sears Tower, etc.  It was undoubtedly a thrilling experience to visit Chicago.

Janet and I recall, so well, the summer of '64, mostly because Bruce had just bought a turquoise, Bonneville Pontiac. He took pictures of us, each taking our turn in the driver's seat.  We were young teenagers and that was COOL back then!   

When there was a family reunion planned in Macomb, Bruce would always take the time to drive down or take the train in order to attend.  He would NEVER show up without Chicago's best coffeecake/
pastries! Yummy! 

Memories are such precious gifts that nothing can take away from us.  Treasure them!

Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to you in this time of great sorrow.  We too, grieve for the loss.

Dear Danielle,
We are shocked at this notice.  Our most sincere condolence to you and the family.  Bruce and I started as Business partner but became very good personal friends in  later years. Fortunately, we were able to get together for lunch in Chinatown recently when he continued to encourage me to fight my Lung Cancer illness.  Unfortunately, this illness will prevent me from attending his service.  Rest Well Old Friend!!!!  We will meet Again!!
