Eli's baptism at People Church was a beautiful "line in the sand" moment; an external declaration of her resolve to follow Jesus. Thank you for sharing your life and joy with us.

My beautiful Tia Eli.. my heart is shattered. It's been so hard coming to the realization that no matter how hard you pray, no matter how hard you cry, your loved ones can't live on forever. You're the closest loss I've had and it's a whole different type of pain. I know you're at peace, no longer suffering and that's all that matters. I love you so much and I wish I could just hold you. I miss you so much. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being such an amazing aunt. You were there for every milestone. You held me as a baby, you were there for every birthday, every graduation, during my head-strong teenage years, my first concert, you seen me fall in love, my first time at a nightclub (that one was hilarious. I never went clubbing again. 😂) you were there for my proposal, my wedding day, when I announced I was pregnant, my first apartment, for the birth of my one and only Saleen, for Saleen's first birthday and baptism, and you were there when I told you I was moving away to Texas. You were a huge part of my life. Always cheering me on. Always supporting me every step of the way. Oscar, Saleen, and I have many more wonderful memories with you. Your time with us was short, but you made a huge impact. We are so blessesd to have called you our Tia. You are forever engraved in our hearts. You will always and forever be our Tia Eli.
