Loving mother of Micky (Peggy) Lanigan, Danny (Cyndi Kolich) Lanigan, and Moira Lanigan. Proud Ma Beth to Justin, Morgan, Helen, Ryan, Micky, Maggie, Brendan & Trent.
Welcomed in heaven by her parents William & Bernice Healy and siblings Jerry & Sharon Ann. Remembered lovingly by siblings Jeanine (Tom) Maloney and Michael Healy, sisters-in-law Karen Healy & Stephanie Healy, and brother-in-law Ed Bara. Loving aunt to many nieces & nephews.
Lifelong friend of so many from Little Flower and Saint Christina.
Beth was an RN for over 45 years, spending most of her career at Little Company of Mary Hospital. Beth had many roles as a nurse, starting out in the ER, working with community outreach programs, and ending with continuing education.
Beth loved the Beatles and the Stones, attending many concerts over the years with her good girlfriends, starting with the Beatles at Comiskey Park in 1965, the closest she’s ever gotten to Paul. Beth never missed a South Side Irish Parade, starting on 79th St many years ago. She loved all things Irish, and was very proud of her South Side roots, often recalling fond memories of Rainbow Beach, Foster Park & Little Flower Parish. Walking and swimming were her favorite ways to stay fit, and Breyer’s ice cream was her favorite way to cancel that out.
Above all else, she deeply loved her family.
