Elsie Kelly, née Gummin,89, of Elmwood Park, IL passed away on Saturday June 1 at Presence Resurrection Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Park Ridge, IL. Born in Pound, WI on Wednesday October 31, 1923 to Adolph and Martha (née Cudnohowski) Gummin. Beloved wife of the late Gaylord E. Rothgeb and Robert E. Kelly; devoted mother of Gaylon Kay (the late James) Bordis, Patricia (Alton) Graetz, Roberta “Bobbe” (Daniel) Innes, Pamela (the late LaDuke) Tebo, Michael (Cynthia) Kelly, and the late Gaylord E. Rothgeb; cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 23; dear sister of Arthur (Dorothy) Gummin; fond aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews; loving caregiver and friend, Flor Parazo; also known as “Mama Elsie” to Shawn Hiller and “Grandma” to Ashley Kohlrus; preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
