Elvira Subiela

Elvira Dungo Subiela, age 63, was born to Sergio and Luz Dungo on July 24, 1952, in Calumpang Nagcarlan Laguna, Philippines and born into eternity on June 8, 2016 surrounded by her loving family; most loving wife of Marcelino Subiela; loving mother of Michelle (Anthony) Vergara; beloved sister of Celia (Efren) Esguerra, Elsa Alvarez, Virgilio (Teresita) Dungo, the late Virginia (late Alfredo) Austria, Victorio (Senday) Dungo, and Ben Dungo; caring cousin, aunt and fond friend of many.

Elvira was a dedicated servant to the Lord and all. She was a Registered Nurse since 1974. She was an Operating Room Nurse, Labor and Delivery, and lastly, served and cared for Veterans at VA Lakeside Medical Center. She was a wonderful cook who always made people laugh regardless of her health and always put others before herself. Together for 38 years, she stood by, stayed strong, and tremendously cared for her husband and "partner in crime", Marcelino. Although she didn't have grandchildren of her own, she treated every child she encountered as her own. We will all truly miss her love, her smile, and her contagious laughter.
