Emily Theresa Kobie. Age 93. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she passed peacefully on June 6th at the home of her daughter in Loganville, Georgia. Beloved wife of the late August Bartholomew Kobie. Loving mother of Aloysius (Carol) Kempa, Jennifer Susan (late Eddie) Jakubiszak, Glenn Kobie, the late Patricia Ainsworth and the late Dawn Kobie (Doherty). Dearest grandmother of Jeffrey (Lisa) Ainsworth, Karen (Glen) Hughes, Christopher (Candi) Kempa, Brian (Katrina) Jakubiszak, Denise (Janusz) Jankowski, Gabe Kobie, Zach Kobie, David Mitchell and the late Jackie Ainsworth, the late Jolene Fisher and the late Christopher Mitchell. Loving great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by loving friends. Visitation Friday, June 12th from 3:00 – 9:00 pm at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago. Family and friends to meet Saturday, 11:00 am at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N.
