Emro Pekovic, 83, of Chicago, formerly of Montenegro, Yugoslovia, passed away March 4, 2014. Beloved husband of Dulija Pekovic, nee Seferovic; loving father of Fezo and Safet; cherished grandfather of Sarina, Zachery, Timothy, Jake, Conner and Nicholas; dearest brother of Omer (Rahima) Pekovic and Ramo (Aisa) Pekovic; fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. Lifelong member of the Islamic Cultural Center of Chicago, the Rumija Cultural Center and Bosnian American Cultural Association. Visitation Wednesday, March 5th, 11:30 a.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago where a funeral service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
