Estrellita M. Barin, nee Mendoza, 67, of Chicago, passed away on November 8, 2012. Devoted wife of Bobino, loving mother of Manuela (Shannon) Lane, of Gig Harbor, WA, Michelle (Brian) Motherway, of Rolling Meadows, and the late Cesar, Alan, Jennifer and Sarah; cherished grandmother of Claudia; dear sister of Gavina (the late Jose) Cardona, Marcela (Eladio) Kabiling, Loreto (Eduvigis), Constancia (Sixto) Badillo, Linda (Lino) Sanchez, and the late Sergio (Luisa), Lina (the late Victoriano) Cruz; countless cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago where prayers will be said 11:30am Saturday, November 10, 2012 to St. Ferdinand Catholic Church for a 12:30 p.m. mass of the resurrection. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Estrellita’s memory to IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE).
