Frances Rose Bernardy

Frances Rose Bernardy, 95, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Friends may call from 2-5 pm Sunday at Andrew McGann Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Monday at St. Christina Catholic Church. She will be buried in Holy Sepulcher Catholic Cemetery following the mass. Born December 22, 1921 in Chicago, Frances was the daughter of Joseph Mathias and Anna (nee Erban) Kouba. She married Edwin Emil Bernardy August 12, 1944 and they were blessed with three children. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; brothers, Clarence and Raymond Kouba and son-in-law, Daniel Schuh. She is survived by her children, Anna Marie Schuh, Mary Frances Rounds (Tom) and Paul Joseph Bernardy, Sr. (Teacy); Anne Marie's son, Peter (Katj), and their children, Sophia, Leah, and Jonas, son, Justin (Catherine) and their children, Autumn and Alexander, and daughter, Elizabeth; Mary Fran and Tom's daughter, Jill (Frank) and their son, Noah, and son, Grant (Kim), their daughter, Harper and his children, Branden and Delaney; and Paul and Teacy's daughter, Loretta (Brad) and their children, Mary Kate, Elizabeth, James, John, and Peter, son, Paul (Sara Beth) and their children Becca, Tripp and Belle, son, Patrick (fiancé, Monica) and his children, Faustina and John Paul, and Katie (Max) and their children, Clarabelle and Becket Frances served as a statistical analyst for US Steel for many years.
