Frank Nowak

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Nowak, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend to many, who left us on August 19th, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on 9/7/1945 in Germany, Frank grew up with a strong sense of family, faith, and hard work. He built a life filled with dedication and kindness, always putting others before himself. His unwavering love and support touched every life he encountered.

Frank was a proud husband to Irena Nowak, with whom he shared 47 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a home rooted in love, laughter, and faith. He was a devoted father to Rene, Joanne and Eric, and a proud grandfather to Noah, each of whom brought him immense joy. His family was his greatest blessing, and his legacy will live on through the lives he nurtured.

He will be remembered for his gentle strength, his humor, his wisdom, and his endless generosity. Whether through a story, a helping hand, or a quiet moment of encouragement, Frank made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, his love will remain forever in our hearts.

A Visitation for Frank will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Saint Pascal Church, 3935 North Melvina Avenue, Chicago, IL 60634. His Committal & Interment Service will follow immediately after his Mass on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Irving Park Cemetery, 7777 Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634.
