Genevieve Uhren, age 90, of Chicago, Illinois, was born in Hazard, Kentucky on May 30, 1934, and passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Genevieve was the loving wife of the late Victor Uhren; most loving mother of June (Joe) Villardita, Tobin (Debra) Uhren, Jenny (Tony) DiGuida, Peggy (Tom) Dunaj and the late Louis Uhren; adoring grandmother of Christine (Mike), Teresa (Brian), Bobby (Gia), Steven (Angelina), Anthony (Aftin), Danielle (Josh) and Jacob; most adoring great-grandmother of Ryan, Nicky, Anthony, Noah, Dominic, Mia, Audrey, Ella, Julian, Benny and Rowan; dear daughter of the late Woodrow & Delora Campbell; beloved sister of Bobbie (the late Harold) Reed, Gertrude (Eli) Henley, Phyllis (Roy) Chenault, Kenny (Janice) Campbell, the late Clifford (Alice) Campbell, June (Jim) Richardson, Rock (Joyce) Campbell, LR (Mary Alice) Campbell and Paul (Andrea) Campbell; unforgettable aunt, caring cousin and fond friend of many.

Genevieve was a living angel to all and a role model to her sisters, daughters and granddaughters. She will be remembered for her strength and perseverance Her sweetest smile and universal "I love you" hand sign will be greatly missed but always remembered.
