George Hartsell - how blessed was my family to call this man a friend. A Saint, actually, as my mom named George. First, he was a saint for being a firefighter, and second he was a saint to have me join them during their family road trips - at a time when I suffered the great loss of losing my dad at a very young age. My world was rattled, my family crushed, and the Hartsell's swept me off on a two week trip - filled with love, laughter, boredom, ice cream, jokes... so many jokes. Just like family should be!!! To this day, I tell Hartsell Family Vacation Tales. We said prayers for Mr. Hartsell in the 70's, and we will say them always. What a great Dad, great Papa, great Husband, great family man, great friend. Thank God for joining our families together! Lots of Love and so sorry for your loss, Alice Frank Kosinski

George Hartsell was a really fun, nice man. Ever since I was a little kid, my parents and I knew Joni, Lori and George because we would go to the church and mass time as everyone else. George would always ask me how school is going. When I heard of his passing, I was really sad. May he rest in piece and I know that he is watching us.

Where do I begin? I loved my uncle more than can be put into words. When I was a little girl, I always lit up when Uncle George was around, even if he did bite my ears. This man had the biggest heart of any man I have ever known. He said what he meant and he meant what he said. There was no pretense or cruelty and he was the funniest person I have ever come across. Family meant more to him above everything. Everyone he invited to his table was family, the honor was not lost on me. The world is a little dimmer without him in it and I will always ask myself, " What would Uncle George do?" when I make choices on what kind of person I want to be. Except at the polls, nobody's perfect 😏. I love you Uncle Georgie Porgie 😗

There is no way to put into words how much I loved my Dad. He was my hero, my friend and my inspiration. So many good memories-the fondest being all together with our family. Going for long drives, vacations, family celebrations, holidays and just watching a game together. He always made everyone feel welcome and eat till you’re ready to burst! But above all else was the love he had for all of us. That’s the gift he left me. I love you Dad-
